This triangular orange lamp was hand- crafted in Santa Fe, NM. It’s made of willow that was growing near a frozen creek in the Santa Fe National Forest. When harvested, the buds atop the dusty purplish branches were bright orange into yellow and black- the colors of a Western Tanager bird which was frequenting our region at the time. The hand-marbled Momi paper is made in Thailand of mulberry and bamboo. This lamp has a beautiful glow that warms up any room. The 25W LED bulb stays cool to the touch and lasts for up to 20 years.
Lava Lamp
The triangular base of this lamp measures 11" X 11" X 11". The papered panels are 21" high, and the total height from base to twig tips is 35". The lamp weighs only 10 oz. There are multiple layers of papered panels, which varies the overall opacity of the lamp- more light comes through the single layers. The Thai-made Momi paper is made of mulberry and bamboo. It has been sprayed to slow the paper from fading. To prolong the vibrancy of the paper, try to place the unit away from direct sunlight.
The lighting fixture has a 4 foot cord and on/off switch. The lamp is lit with a 25 watt LED bulb that can last up to 20 years and always stays cool. Since it is fashioned from natural materials, this sculptural lamp is very delicate. Try to minimalize handling, and when you do, always hold from the base.
Lamp is intended for indoor use only. Place on flat, level surface away from direct sunlight and any chance of water damage. Turn off when not in use.
Use only LED bulbs in this lamp, as they do not heat up significantly with continued use. Replace bulb with a comparable bulb: E12 LED 4.5w, 240 lumens, 120v.
